ABSTRACT
Following the COVID-19 health emergency, the use of telemedicine, that is the provision of health services through telecommunications and internet technologies, has spread. This work presents a critical review of the characteristics, purposes, advantages and problems of telemedicine in the care of patients with neurodevelopmental disorders and the prospects that can be hypothesized in its application even beyond the pandemic emergency.
